"I
AM NOT A BIG "GOD" PERSON... " |
My son has told me for years that he was a Miracles Healer and that he had undergone some sort of Miraculous spiritual awakening. The Truth is, I did not know whether to make heads or tails of it, and I wasn't quite honestly that enthusiastic to go and find out more. I am not a big "God" person if you know what I mean. Last year I had to go and have surgery for my knee, it had been bad for years, but one day at work, while getting out of my truck, I stepped on a glass bottle and really injured my knee. It required a reparative operation. After the surgery, I was in quite a lot of pain and I had to do daily therapy to get the knee back in working order. The therapy was also quite painful. I was on pain killers from the doctor to help with the pain but they were not helpful enough. Also, the medicine was making me have terrible distorted nightmares of dying and fear and I couldn't sleep. Two nights later, I started thinking about something my son had said, that I could heal from within. It was like I could feel him come into my mind and direct me. He said to get off the medicine and to focus healing thought on my knee. I started to do this all night and unbelievably I started to feel this warm energy pulsing in my knee. By the next day the pain had dissipated considerably and I could breathe again. The weird effects of the medicine went away too. This continued until my knee was healed. The doctor was surprised when I came in because me knee was recovering 4 times faster than he said it should have. I only smiled. I don't necessarily think everyone should just throw away their medicine, but I do know there is something to this miracles healing thing. The key is in their mind. I also think the healing was possible because I believed it was possible for an instant. I feel that my son was only offering me his certainty of his own experiences. There was really a healing presence with me, and now that I have experienced it, I hope to find out more. I am grateful. I called my son and said thank you and told him the story, he didn't say anything, but I think he was smiling. J.O. - United States |
