actually hated my dad from the time I was a child. A couple of years
ago I found the Course in Miracles and started doing the workbook-lessons
every day. I prayed. I prayed as well to be able to forgive my dad and
have my relationship to him be healed.
One day, out of the blue, I saw my dad's face before my inner eye and suddenly the hugest wave of love for him completely overwhelmed me. I saw him how I had never seen him before, I saw beauty and glory and innocence shining in his face and my heart just burst open and I was like 'liquid gratitude'. What before was my total resistance was all over sudden replaced by the most pure experience of love. What a miracle! Now, every time I think of my dad, I feel this warmth in my heart and I almost hear him laugh. And a blessing is all that is left from the past. A.W. Germany |
