Greetings
to all God's family all over the globe. It brings me such great joy to
know that there are so many ordinary people out there like myself who love
the Lord. I Love you all and I know that although I will never get a
chance to see all of you in this life, I know for a fact that if we all
love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of our hearts, souls, strengths and
minds, we will see each other one day in heaven, where we all belong,
where there is a special mansion, a special place that Jesus himself had
gone to prepare for us. Looking forward to seeing you all there. I would
love to shake all your hands there.
I was the 4th of 9 children and the 2nd oldest of the 7 that are left. My
oldest sister and younger brother died very young. That left us with one
brother and 6 girls. My brother was the oldest of us and I was the oldest
of girls. My brother was always at the hospital helping my mum looking
after my sick dad. My brother stopped going to school all together and so
were the rest of my sisters because mum could not afford to pay for all
our school fees. I was the only one sent to school out of 7 of us. At 11
years old my dad died. Before my dad passed away, I was the mother to my
six sisters at night and a young school girl at daytime& I did this
for 3 years while my mum was in hospital full time with my dad. My dad was
really ill and he could not walk and most of the time he would die and my
brother would jump on him and bump his chest, or whatever he used to do
for my dad to regain conscious again. Before my dad fell ill, I was
brought up by my nana, and I never really knew my parents, especially my
dad. In weekends, I would take one or two of my sisters to go to the
hospital to see our parents. I never really thought about what I was doing
at the time. I knew my parents & oldest brother weren't there and it
was my responsibility to look after my younger sisters. My sister Fuli who
is two years younger than me, was a great help as well. She used to cook
the food, while I was at school. She used to bath the young ones and do a
lot of work to help me out. My dad died when I was eleven, but before he
died, he blessed me over and over again. I left my little island of Samoa
when I was 13 years old, attended college in New Zealand and brought my
whole family over to New Zealand 7 years later. God does work in mysterious
ways. I married a born again young man, and now my mother and 5 sisters
are born again Christians as well. Now when I look back to all those
years, I can honestly say that someone was watching over us. My dad died
when mum was only 36 years old and she is 65 years old now and never been
remarried. I have one child and 4 foster children. My mum has about 30
grandchildren now and I praise God everyday for my family. I praise God
everyday for loving and protecting me and family from all those years of
not having absolutely nothing to having everything now with Christ as our
Lord and saviour...
I just want to say one last thing, when my dad was very ill, the only song
he wanted us to do that helped soothed the pain was sing, "I will
cling to that old rugged cross and exchange it some day for a crown"
Before he passed away, maybe a few minutes before he did, he wanted my mum
to say a prayer, and when my mum opened her eyes, she still remembers my
dad tried lifting his hand to wave goodbye. I love my dad so much and I am
sure he is in heaven. He went against all witchcraft medicine and beliefs
even though his own father was a medicine man. I never understood why he
did, but I understand now. My father had great faith in God. Praise the
Lord.
Well to end this, I know it is such a very long testimony, but I just
wanna say, see you all in heaven. Looking forward to the rapture and
reigning with Jesus forever. Remember Love the Lord with your all and
there is no doubt we will reign with him forever. Love you in the name of
our one and only Saviour, Jesus Christ.
