I was working in the print shop with the
hot glue machine. This machine glues covers on booklets that are being
send to prisoners by the Prison Ministry. One of the "Peace" booklets got
stuck in the machine. I grabbed the booklet and, before I realized it, the
fingers of my left hand were covered with a thick 2-inch wide layer of
glue, 350 degrees Fahrenheit. My hand was on fire!
While the glue quickly hardened, I managed to peal the glue strips off my
fingers without tearing my skin, a miracle in itself. Having been a nurse,
I saw in a flash the long and painful scenario of second-degree burns.
Immediately I made up my mind and knew that this was a mistake. The
function of my body is communication only. No suffering, no pain. I
released a tremendous amount of energy from my burning, painful fingers. I
was lifted up and found myself in a total different dimension. I felt very
peaceful and the pain was gone. This is the place to be. I could continue
gluing booklets in gratitude and joy.
Remembering who I was, and am, sped up the healing process immeasurably.
Though some blistering occurred, I remained pain free. In less than ten
days there was no trace left of the burns. Everything was gone, forgiven,
and time collapsed.
